With over 20 years in the industry Baron Simms first got noticed as an up and coming producer by Mixmag in the early 2000`s with his track Swerve which was featured on their compliation Stick This up Your Napster.
Honing his production skills he quickly made noise on the Drum & Bass Scene on the soulful liquid style with his tracks being supported by DJs On Bassdrive, Kool FM, BBC Electro East & Kunnin Mindz.
After forming a production/DJ partnership with close friend Andy”Dubz”Hill he had a string of releases as Simztek & Dubz on various labels making House, Tech House & DJ sets up and down the country with a host of releases on labels such as Krafted /Onefold Digital / Sweep The Floor Records / Endemic Digital / New Politics Records / Drum Records / EME / 13 Records / YooNek Records.
In 2024 you will find Baron inside the studio crafting a slew of original tracks & remixes in the style of Afro House -Tech - Melodic House pushing and blending genres in his sonic pallette.
