This mix came about off the back of one I was putting together for the Campfire Convention Winter Solstice Harmony ’21 event. For that mix the theme was about finding commonality but I kept finding myself checking out the lyrics online for various other tracks that seemed to form a different narrative, and these charted an overview of the situation across the current media space. This includes tunes that chimed, for me at least, with the overriding noise that pervades our existence these days, whether through social media feeds or conventional main stream media, like the tv, radio and newspapers, which all vie for our attention whilst filling our heads with unanswerable quandaries, life threatening dilemmas and frankly poorly thought out opinionated crap! How on earth can we find peace and clarity in all this racket? I hope some of these tunes make some sense in this seemingly random conundrum.
