Mexican-born, Canada-based producer and DJ Báalam is a veteran of the underground psytrance scene. From founding Caffix Records to hosting Trance Nation radio, he has spent over 20 years cultivating psychedelic culture.

Báalam’s signature sound—often characterized by intricate production and high-energy arrangements—has earned him recognition in the global scene, including features in Mushroom Magazine’s Top 10 DJ Charts.

He has worked with industry heavyweights such as Mubali, Neuromotor, Naked Tourist, and Audiopathik. Beyond the decks, his work as a curator is highlighted in his compiled releases, including Daydream (2008), Inner-Belial (2009), and K’an Ajaw (2011).
