Axis Mundi's sound combines synths and samples with a 4 piece band line up to create a hybrid of euphoric acid house build ups and dynamic rock vocal melodies, bringing rave to the rock stage.

After their initial conception in late 2008, Axis Mundi's second year saw them rated as one of the top 5 upcoming bands in the UK from a group of over 12,000 other quality acts. During this time, Axis Mundi played at several well known venues including the Indigo2 in London.

During 2010, the band worked closely with best-selling science author and NewScientist writer Michael Brooks during his election campaign against Hinckley and Bosworth MP David Tredinnick. Tredinnick has made claims that surgeons should not operate on a full moon and that scientists were “racially pre
