Born and raised in the "Golden State" Austyn's musical tastes were formed at a very young age. A fan of soul at its essence displayed through disco, R&b, and Hip Hop, dance music is a passion . An avid mover, he is particularly knowledgeable in old and current house music but his musical knowledge is technical as well. He particularly enjoys deep and garage house as well as German Techno and will play tracks that reflect his own taste. A firm believer in playing to his own exoticness, A.R. Elliott will play tracks pandering a bit far left of center sometimes to teach while other times to inspire. His Inspirations include, Frankie Knuckles, James Hype, Dj Pierre, Toyboy and Robin, Julian Bashmore, Prince and Disclosure.
