Augusta Di Leonardo comes from Pescara and obtained diploma as a luthier 2005 at the Antonio Stradivari Institute in Cremona. After having carried out painting and restoration courses with the master Guerriero Spataffi in Gubbio he worked in Cremona for about 10 years in the workshops of violin makers and then graduated and did the job in his Atelier in Via Sicardo near Piazza del Duomo in Cremona His training for construction was under the guidance of Claudio Amighetti MAESTRi, Luca Bellini and Angelo Sperzaga. In 2004 he settled for a period in Mexico and USA to follow the construction of classical guitar under the guidance of masters Carlos Pineda and Hugo Carlos Munoz from the school of Queretaro MEXICO. In 2006 for a short period he collaborated with Claude LEBET A Roma Centro, realizing in collaboration the book on Roman lutherie of 1700 at the same time as Stradivari.
