In 1804 the frigate Mercedes departed for Spain from Peru with valuable goods, mostly money. An English fleet attacked the ship and it finished on the seabed. In 2009, a company pillaged its cargo and it was returned to Spain after a legal battle. This ship has an exciting history for us.
