That is what AtticP aims to do with every mix. He loves getting feet tapping, heads nodding and people dancing, and believes a good DJ should take the listener on a journey during a set.
Growing up listening to Folk, Jazz and Classical music, AtticP then discovered high-tempo music and spent many years immersed in Happy Hardcore and Drum & Bass. He emerged from this with a love of funky samples, hard beats and music with strong emotions.
Having recently “calmed down” to more mid-tempo music AtticP enjoys fusing retro and modern sounds and currently loves playing Ghetto Funk, Electro Swing and Glitch-Hop. But every adventure has twists and turns and you will find these in AtticP’s genre-defying mixes, which always have a few cheeky surprises.
