The Atatürk Society UK was founded in 1997. It’s main aim is to promote the ideals and principles of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and keep them alive for the present day situations. Kemalism promotes many modern and humane objectives within a secular context as well as the just struggle against political and economic control by other nations. Society’s main activities are to arrange seminars, conferences, exhibitions and meetings, covering a wide and diverse range of topics relating to Ataturk and Turks.
The Ataturk Society UK’s blog and information hub was established in March 2010 with a view to adding to it’s voice and publicising this to the English speaking world too.
