Astra Pentaxia (a.k.a. 'Prism') is a musician and visual artist specialising in rainbowgoth sound design and crafting analog double exposure captures. Currently based in Berlin, she responds to the inspiration of memory, saturation, and the dreamworld. 2017 witnessed the San Francisco release of her EP 'Confessions from the Rainbow Manor,' but since 2023, Prism has collaborated closely with Obsidian, a visual artist and researcher in postcolonial theology, culture and education. Obsidian takes a Black Quantum Afrofuturist approach towards tackling issues of racism, cultural appropriation, intersectionality and sustainable urban regeneration by drawing on an image of global Black cultures.
