I graduated from UCLan, Preston with a degree in journalism so, obviously, I want to be a journalist or writer or something.

At the moment, though, between writing bits and bobs, I am currently mainly employed as a, erm, 'pie technician' at the world (well, Barrow) famous Green's.

I'm a football fanatic and follow Barrow AFC and Liverpool. I love all things football - writing about it, reading about it, watching it and playing it (as long as I don't have to run much).

I used to reside on the tropical Isle of Walney, which is part of the legendary Barrow-in-Furness which is probably the best cul-de-sac in the world (yes, even better than Brookside Close), but now I don't.
