Assaf Bivas a.k.a B-bass (ex-Skazi)
Assaf “B-Bass” Bivas is a pioneer in the Tel Aviv electronic music scene. “In the 90s, we started
throwing parties in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem south Africa brazil and japan …and then it just exploded.” As a founding member of
international trance powerhouse SKAZI, B-Bass spent the better part of two decades performing
for hundreds of thousands in South America, Mexico, Korea, Japan and Europe as well as his
native Israel. SKAZI blew up, ensuring B-Bass’ legacy in Tel Aviv and beyond.
After touring the globe, B-Bass wanted to do more. “I recognized there was a community or artists
that needed some help.” He founded Chemical Crew records, which at its zenith, represented art and music directed
more than 35 touring artists playing major festivals around the world. “We had the best DJs,
artists…and helped get some amazing music out there,” recalls B-Bass. Videos from Chemical
Crew’s roster have generated over 50 Million views to date.
