if you work since almost 20 years as DJ you see many changes in the music biz. ask:me´s musical upbringing and early introduction to dj helped to forge a sound of real house music which is perfectly for cool running house clubs and summer festivals. doesn´t matter if deep, funky, nudisco because everybody understand house music, as it´s a spiritual thing. the infuences came from artists like Luciano, Art Department, Dusky, Hot Since 82, Nora En Pure, Moloko, Noir to name a few which are using tunes from many years ago and presenting them as the new deep house tunes. as ask:me used to play this stuff many years ago and people loved his sets under his other alter ego, this gave him the inspiration to use old funky stuff of the big house generation in the past and mix this with the new deep house stuff of the new deep house generation...
