I had somewhat of a spiritual revelation tonight sitting on my porch tonight smoking a cigarette, and was able to summarize my beliefs, if you will, into what a lot of you may call a "Twit". For those of you, I'm an atheist by choice. I think the idea of a "GOD" who sits up there monitoring in, who will someday sit and decide the conditions of my collective "eternity", is simply silly. Yet, the problem, I feel, in mainstream society today, is that it's almost become pounded into our collective psyche that if you don't acknowledge the tenets of tradition belief, that you automatically become an acolyte of science, and, by proxy, the theory of evolution, for the most part. So black and white, we are. Wouldn't a grey area be more appropriate? We are much to diverse as a species, yet alone the entire spectrum of life that inhabits this planet, to have evolved from reptilian creature, or better yet, an egg or fish of some sort. I do believe in creation, then. That seems logical to me, now.
