Asher Levitas' debut solo album 'Lit Harness' on Planet Mu was released in 2016 to praise from The Quietus ''a dark fantasy of complete unreality'' and The Wire "skeins and planes of synthetic colour". Since 2010 he has been active as part of Old Apparatus, the acclaimed and enigmatic London experimental audio - visual collective ( “Pay special attention” The New Yorker, “a lesson in
how to manipulate found footage with flair and panache.” FACT mag ). Over the last few years he has featured on releases for labels including Deep Medi, Houndstooth, Sullen Tone and Left Blank as ‘Saa’ ("Album of the Month" Dummy). Asher's work often has a strong visual element, most recently collaborating with artist and writer Michael Crowe on the 'Lit Harness' live AV show which has toured throughout the UK and Europe. In 2017 he produced the ethereal ambient pop duo Paper Dollhouses forthcoming
