DJ Brecht has been immersed in the Bournemouth Drum and Bass scene for over 2 years, now a resident of Vibez and Bassflex, he’s hitting the Bournemouth scene with a different edge. Growing up with the sounds of Hard House and Trance as a youngster, Brecht was on a steady path of finally finding his one true love…Drum and Bass. The love affair started when he was 18, after hitting One Nation for the first time, the sets of DJ Hazard, Nicky Blackmarket and DJ Friction inspired him to buy his first set of decks. The rest is history. DJ Brecht tries not to be pinpointed to one style and tends to hit all the sides of the Drum and Bass spectrum in a set, moving from dark rollers, liquid, to all out jump-up and of course, everything in-between. He is also lucky enough to now be living in the birth place of this beautiful genre, London. Now up there, Brecht is amercing himself in the scene in an attempt to become an established Drum and Bass DJ. Watch this space…
