In April of 1974, René Santrau was born in Berlin. It was the wild 70's and it was still some time before electronic music came to play. As a boy, he discovered his passion for music and he pounded on and rattled with anything that made a sound. In the years that followed, he learned to play melodies by piano lessons and continued this, gradually more harmonious, until he converted them into his first Sequencerprogrammes. In parallel, there was of course the purchase of DJ equipment, such as Technics MK 2 and Pioneer Club Mixer. But it was still a long way before moving around the clubs as a DJ, for the actual production of ideas gave him the goosebumps. Today, he torments any tone generator that he comes across, from iPhones, to kitchen utensils and various distortion modules – you name it. His favorite tools, which he uses most in his productions, are still Ableton Live, Cubase and FruityLoops Studio. Through the new social networks he got back in touch with friend DJ Scorpion …...
