I have always been an audiophile, the result of growing up with a father who has a thing for big sound, in the end not such a bad trait to inherit. My love of sound grows from there, often as a child needing the music to be playing so I could occupy my mind as I fell asleep.
In the late 90's (96/97) and I had my first experience with turntables and vinyl. I was hooked and in 1998 bought my first vinyl. Now in the digital age, the Allen & Heath Xone DB4 and K2 are the tools of my trade..
From day one I have always been a techno fiend with my greatest influences coming from the London Acid Techno scene (SUF, Cluster, 4x4, etc), Sweden (Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, etc) and probably the biggest influence being Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman and Detroit Techno.
Armand-Emile is symbolic of who I am and my sound is a blend between House, Deep House, Tech House, Techno and Minimal .. some times even venturing into more progressive sounds..
