Growing up in Seattle, Washington U.S.A. to parents with a love for music, Arlo was exposed to many genres at a very young age. From Funk, Soul, Blues, Folk, R&B, Disco, Rock, and eventually Hip-Hop then Electronic music. Around 1995 he started attending underground dance parties, featuring DJ’s playing House, Techno, Breakbeat, and Drum n’ Bass. Not fully understanding what it was to be a DJ, he got his first set of turntables, hoping to create new music. Quickly realizing what he really wanted to do was to produce his own music he got a drum machine, sampler and synthesizer to create new sounds. Following through with his love for production and eventually recording and sound engineering he gained a Bachelor’s of Arts degree at The Evergreen State College majoring in Audio Recording and Music Production.
