Consecrated as Catholic bishop in 1979, with over 36 years of experience in the ministry of exorcism, from first to second priest to assist in the rite of exorcism for many years, who was trained by three mentors who were exorcist bishops, Bishop Ron Feyl became known within the jurisdiction as reliable and experienced and was elevated in 1981 as Chief Exorcist and Presiding Bishop under the Independent Catholic jurisdiction of The Sacred Order of Saint Michael the Archangel - Order of Exorcists.
