Hi! My name is John Macdonald. I was formerly a school teacher and then a school principal. I have lived in Australia all my life, particularly in New South Wales, Tasmania and currently Western Australia. In recent years I have also travelled extensively , overseas. My family is now grown up and my wife, Helen and I have a number of grandchildren. For many years I was involved with school music, especially with choirs.
I play the piano and organ and also with singing. Over the years I have composed many pieces of music. Genres include classical, easy listening, Celtic, worship, marches, lullabies,minuets, polkas and waltzes. The music has also been composed for orchestra and solo instruments.
