Antonis Gikoumakis studied to Vakalo art and design college in the section of painting and history of art,under the supervisor of his professors , Marigo Kassi , Katerina Mertzani and Gianni Papagianni.With their encouragement and support he carried on with scholarship. Since then and until today he works into his studio totally devoted to what his doing. He always watch and informed about the world art and he searching to find his own communication codes through his painting.
The characteristics of his work is in expressionistic bases , the intense writing with charcoals, inks,and oils with a special preference to black and white.He performs exhibitions in Greece and abroad.He lives and work in Athens.
