Antony Filis was born and raised in Athens ,Greece.He started taking drum and music lessons at the age of 15 years old, at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory ,where he studied at first for a year.At the age of 19 he continued his studies at the Philipos Nakas Conservatory where he studied ,for three consequtive years, the styles of Jazz ,Funk , Latin and Fusion music.He has also studied Jazz Harmony,and Classical Trumpet.He has taken private lessons with many famous foreingn drummers(................................)and has performed with several rock ,funk,jazz, and latin bands.He has also worked with several famous Greek Singers(....................) ,and has performed in many jazz recitals at different venues.He has also performed in Theatre Musicals and lately he is mostly occupied with his own personal project.He recently finished his own recording "KRISI"(Music and Lyrics by Antony Filis)
