São Paulo, Brazil
Renato Larini was born in a small city in Brazil. He grew up in an environment which enabled a creative childhood, a factor that clearly influenced and caused a major impact on the outcome of Larini’s visual production.
His work as an artist and designer started in early 80’s with collage, using as tools scissors, knife, glue and anatomy, surgery, botanic and zoological books as well as old magazines. Those tools soon were complemented with the use of the computer as a major
instrument to his graphic experiments. According to him, “the computer enabled me to forge my universe with more precision and control”.
