Artist, Graphic & Interior Designer, Printmaker, Lithographer, Professional Musician, Jazz Double Bassist, D.J. Compere, Croupier, Dancer, Comedian and then in 1979 opened an art gallery. The John Russell Contemporary Art Gallery, on the waterfront of Ipswich, Suffolk which was officially opened by the Jazz Singer and Art Writer & Critic George Melly.
