Anthony Smith is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where at the age of 15 he started his career as
a professional Disc Jockey performing at his High School Homecomings and Prom’s, then taking
it on the road to other schools and social events in the Baltimore area. His passion for spinning
music continued through College where he earned a living while getting his degree in
Commercial Art at Hampton University, Virginia. Anthony was an incredible athlete playing wide
receiver and accomplishing many records that still remain today. His unique nickname came
from his football teammates, due to his love for Chicken they would have a bucket ready for him
after each game; hence his name; DJ “Chicken”.
