With almost 30 years of experience behind the decks, Sanna has been delivering jazzfunk, latin, reggae, brasilian, african disco with a touch of house and electronic soundscape. She’s managed award-winning clubs and hosted radio broadcasts. As host of her own radio show Breakin’ Boundaries, she exposed the first “broken beats” sound to Helsinki, in her native Finland. She has booked artists like DJ E.A.S.E (Nightmares On Wax), Paul Murphy (Jazz Rooms), Tony Nwachukwu (CDR, Attica Blues), Jake Behnan (Counterpoint Records), Joe Davis (FarOut Recordings), the brasilian jazz groups Azymuth and Marcos Valle (BRA).

She has traveled the world playing in Bergen, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Frankfurt, Dresden, Vilnius, Barcelona, London, New York and Detroit. She was a participant at the iconic Red Bull Music Academy in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2002.
Currently Sanna resides in Detroit reveling in the city’s gritty landscape as she presents her unique sound around town.
