Mitochondria’ is an experimental Project by Electronic Music Artist Ankur Kashyap. Being a Life Science student, the project was named Mitochondria because of its unknown origin. ‘Mitochondria’, known as the ‘Powerhouse of Cell’ is still a debatable topic among the biologists across the World and according to the most acceptable theory, Mitochondria’s origin is ‘Foreign’ (read ‘Alien’) in nature. His debut EP ‘Call of the Chondrion’ was released in April 2017.
The Mitochondria Project was inspired by the natural poly rhythms and harmonic textures of organic sounds with a twist of evolving ambiance and ethereal melody lines.
