Jason Clark emerged from the Midwest rave scene of the 1990s as both an artist and promoter. Going further back, he played in Louisville hardcore and grindcore bands including Son of Dog, which released a 7” on the Better Days Records label. Under the moniker Strange Loop and as part of SKL (Spiritual Krack Laboratory), he crafted experimental electronic sets that threaded downtempo, techno, and ambient influences into the region’s underground fabric.

His recent work as Angel of the Bottomless Pit echoes his early counter-cultural influences with his encompassing love of all things electronic.
