A DJ stint spanning 25 years. I decided to have a bash at local radio where the show One Step Beyond was born in 2013. After 3 years, radio and playlist restrictions started taking the show into areas I didn't want to go, so it was decided to go independent. A change of name later and total control regained, the Underground Route was born (the name taken from the Yellowstone track "She came from San Andres. Cheers Luke Smith) Now broadcast as a monthly podcast via mixcloud The Underground Route showcases new and current Mod inspired music from a very healthy scene, not forgetting our sixties roots and some vintage comedy clips adding to the mayhem. Live music also features in the live carriage and interviews with the talented people involved. The overall Aim, to put a show together which brightens up the weekend with some new and great bands and hopefully we hit the target. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the shows.
