Born 1961 went to Wigan Casino in 77 at the age of 16 got my membership through Blues & Soul magazine not sure if I would get in but made my way there on my own but luckily I recognised someone in the queue and stood with them but once them doors opened there was no stopping anyone with the surge of people rushing through the doors never forget it, what a buzz.
my claim to fame was around that time when Evelyn Thomas got me up on stage with her at Cats Whiskers (Oldham} and personally sang "Weak Spot" to me...
