In love with music since ´82, in love & able to buy vinyl since 1990. Mixing vinyl since ´94. Almost stopped mixing vinyl since producing music became an addiction while the shops had less and less to offer. Especially as far as DNB was concerned: Jungle was gone, and instead of DNB there was what I felt like it was 175 BpM techno (which I originally love, Hardcore stuff like DJ EDGE, too, nicely mixable with fast DnB...) with a backbeat (Snare@2, Snare@4) with cold drumsamples. Some good stuff among these records too, but overall, the good stuff had gone, as was my passion for buying vinyl.
Today, partly golden times as far as vinyl is concerned, thanks to internet platform discogs. Been finding gems I missed in the 90s for less than 2€ since 2017!! And back in the mix sometimes, too.
