When I was 15 I stumbled upon a radio station here in L.A. (103.1 KDL) that used to play all of the club hits at that time such as: Diving - 4 strings, Something – Lasgo etc. I didn’t even know what this type of music was called, but the melodies and energy captivated me so I looked into how one “plays” it which is how I got into djing. As far as my reasons for spinning aside from loving the music, I feel a calling for me to unite people through music, so getting an uplifting emotional message across to the crowd through tunes that I love playing is very fulfilling as well as uplifting for me. If I can make peoples’ or even just one person’s night at a party through good vibes, then that’s all I want :).
