Untuned:
Based on sounds that were created inside an old forgotten piano.
This piece breaths out its existence.
Through its wooden corps, cornered in an imaginary and lightless scenery, we are sensing the vibrations of its frame and of the time passing by.
A seven minute (potentially long-winded) selected memento of sounds which were filtered though the instrument’s history.
This piece was presented at the elactroacoustic Music Marathon (Corfu 20/11/2004)
The theatre was arranged for multichannel sound with 28 speakers placed at specific spots.
The piece was originally created for 5.1 surround system.
Until the format is compressed on its multichannel form in order to share it through the Internet, the piece is currently available in a compressed as mp3
