ANAKHEMIA is the artist persona of
Afra Khan who plays electronic mind-body music, and whose vision is simply to inspire dialogue in the human psyche through the method of musical storytelling.
Deeply inspired by Quantum Physics, sound manipulation and Minimal Art, her sets can be expected to traverse through a variety of sonic textures that are raw, evocative, cinematic and avant-garde while spanning between the genres of Electronica and Techno.
She self-released her debut track, ‘The Prophecy’ in November 2015 and has received support from press and veterans in the electronic dance music industry.
Her visual work in music has been exhibited in London and Paris alongside works of legendary electronic musicians like Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Jeff Mills and Juan Atkins.
