Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Amy White was exposed to the electronic dance scene since the age of 14. Amy booked her first gig while on tour with her band, West Indian Girl in Los Angeles. She’s spun at festivals in Mexico and various venues in Los Angeles, including Soundexchange LA, the Bootleg Theatre, the Viper Room, the Foundation Room, La Cita, etc. She also has played at Filter magazine parties, corporate events and other private parties. Amy is an accomplished musician, and has contributed vocals to various soundtracks and albums, including M83’s Grammy nominated “Hurry Up We’re Dreaming.” She's currently a member of the electro pop outfit, The Controversy, and the indie electronic duo Linus and Amy.
