Amit is an internationally acclaimed Tabla Player. He is one of the finest exponents of 'Banaras Gharana'.

He started learning Tabla at the age of 6 and became a child prodigy within few years of 'Taalim' (Training). He is the disciple of Padma Bhushan Pandit Samta Prasad & Pandit Bachchan Pathak. Amit holds 'Masters' in Indian Classical Music.

On academic front, Amit is an Engineer and an MBA. He is an alumnus of prestigious IIT, IIM & BITS. He is a software-professional and currently working with Oracle Corporation.

He has so far performed in countries like Lebanon, Singapore, Germany, Qatar, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Egypt, UAE, Sri Lanka etc.
