Amani K. Smith is a House Music Man with a remarkable production background steeped in authentic Hip Hop.

As the son of William "Smitty" Smith, the legendary keyboard player and songwriter, for the likes of Brenda Russell, Etta James, The Pointer Sisters, Dionne Warwick, among dozens of others, Smith learned at an early age to incorporate his love for classic 1970's and 1980's music into contemporary musical masterpieces.

As a Hip Hop producer, Smith has worked with the genre's greats incuding Public Enemy, KRS-One, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte, Ludacris, Method Man and Redman. Extremely versatile, Smith has also worked with Aerosmith, Kelly Clarkson, Alana Davis and earned a Grammy working with The Tempations. In 2013, Smith's name was added to Public Enemy's plaque that went into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Smith lists Roy Davis Jr., Daft Punk, Miguel Migs, Doc Martin, Colette, Mark Farina, Kaskade, Milton Jackson (Glasgow), Naked Music and Om Records as major influences.
