Amanda Francis

Amanda Francis received her BA Hons from the University of East London (where she currently teaches) and MFA from Slade School of Art. She has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad, exhibitions include ‘Product Placement’ solo show at Space Station Sixty-Five London, ‘Gyumri International Biennial of contemporary Art’ Armenia; ‘When in Rome’ and ‘Arttextiles’ exhibitions toured across the UK, venues include Castlefield Gallery Manchester, ArtSway Hampshire and Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery Suffolk. Performance collaborations include ‘The Scope’ at The Purcell Room South Bank and ‘The Death of Art’ an intervention at Tate Modern and ‘Campfire’ at Café Gallery London. Amanda has taught in several art colleges and works on a voluntary basis within community arts, she lives and works in London.
