Having grown up in the streets of Chitungwiza and then later moved to Waterfalls listening to Roki, Leonard Mapfumo, Mtukudzi , Alick Macheso, Stunner & Maskiri. He was influenced to embark on his musical career by these prominent musicians. He started at the age of 14 and started recording his demo tracks at the age of 16 while he was still at school.
