Alternative Reality, also known as AR, is an Ecuadorian DJ, producer, and creative director based in Los Angeles, California. His productions explore a diverse range of electronic styles, including tech house, tribal house, funky house, hard house, hard techno, and electro. Alternative Reality discovered his love for music at a young age and began DJing at just 9 years old. By 12, he had already played his first rave, a pivotal moment that fueled his commitment to mastering his craft as a DJ and producer. At 15, he began producing music with MTV's Music Generator for PlayStation before refining his skills with Acid, Reason, and Ableton, which he still uses today. In 2007, he founded Prompt Digital to release his music while curating an international artist roster. The label has released successful tracks supported by DJs worldwide, reaching audiences across the electronic music community.
