DJing under the name "The Cyber Scotsman" for the majority of his DJing career, Ali M began DJing in Aberdeen in 2003. This led onto playing for Tidy Ibiza in the summer of 2007 before moving to Manchester upon his return to the UK. He continued to play at various hard house nights in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham until 2010 when he decided to take a break from the decks to concentrate on other aspects of his life such as music production and fitness instruction where he now teaches step and aerobics sessions at major fitness events around the country.
While Ali has been away from the decks he has been perfecting his own engineering techniques learning from hard house masters such as Dave Owens, Riggsy, Ben Stevens and Tom Parr.
