Growing up in Malmö, Sweden to Soul and RnB like Marvin Gaye, The Tempations, James Brown and more. Alex Spasic found Reggae music most natural to him when he was introduced to Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Jimmy Cliff, Alpha Blondy and Steel Pulse.

His old Reggae band D Roots formed in 1992 and ended in 2012, only to grow into a positive direction for Alex Spasic, im taking my music back to the roots of reggae ( he says ) and once again back to the studio for his solo debut album.
