Carlos Lehder is the deep tech minimal alter ego of Alex Kid, a globetrotting vinyl & digital DJ born & raised in Germany & S.Africa where, in 1987 he fell in love with underground music & the local rave scene. A lifelong musician, he spent his formative years exploring the boundaries of electronic music & today you can still hear the influences of Depeche Mode, New Order & Kraftwerk blended into the future sounds of the underground. A true Rockstar, the only thing subtle about Carlos, is his mixing. Pay attention.
Like a musical architect, Carlos Lehder creates soundscapes, sculpted stems/loops, each introduced 1st as a metronome & layered one by one into a masterpiece of musical performance.
