Alex Humphries is a multimedia professional and Broadcast Journalist, who has a passion for radio.
Originally from Witney, Oxfordshire, he is currently based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, where he is close to completing his degree - BA(hons) Broadcast Journalism at The University of Huddersfield.
Alex is currently Breakfast presenter & Station Manager of Radio Hud, the students' radio station at the University of Huddersfield.
In May 2013, Alex was nominated for Media Personality of the Year and Volunteer of the Year at the University of Huddersfield Students' Union Awards.
In May 2014, Alex was again nominated for the Huddersfield Students' Union Media Personality of the Year award, and led Radio Hud to being shortlisted for Most Improved So
