ALEX DE PONTI was born in Milan in 1979. Heavily influenced by the early House movement, Alex was exposed to rough and ready dance music from day one. Spinnin naturally became an obsession, and after a couple of years Alex’s musical diet started inevitably expanding and put him on the path to the extreme eclecticism he is reknown for today. From early 2000's till now, Alex has played in hundreds of clubs, from Milan through London and also in NY, where he performed at Le Bain during the summer of 2011.
In 2006, he founded Vinylbrokers, one of the most famous italian record stores with a very high rotation of second-hand vinyl, especially focused on black music from the 70's till now.
In 2015 Alex is also running Groovin Recordings, a record label focused on repressing on vinyl house and disco classics tracks.
