Milan-based singer-songwriter and producer Alessia Labate was born to a musician father and dancer mother. She worked her way into music at 12 as a contestant on Io canto and Io canto 3 (Italian tv shows) A decade later – after ‘The Voice of Italy’ and C.E.T. (prestigious italian songwriting school) – at just 22 Alessia is now a professional vocalist and songwriter. She has been up to a lot of stuff in the past year: releasing and writing a lot of new music that easily found its way to Nicky Romero’s Music from Protocol Radio, multiple New Music Fridays and Friday Cratediggers, collaborating with artists such as Stef Classens (Runner-up in The Voice Of Holland), Gabriele Esposito (XfactorIT) and Chiara Grispo (XfactorIT-Amici), and working on her artist project. After the unexpected success of “Just Love”, she recently released "OMG" with Spinnup + a cool homemade music video.
