Baltimore, United States
I was once known as DJ Fierce, B'more Fierce, Fierce Beats, DJ Saga. I started my DJ career while at University of MD 1987. Learned how to mix vinyl from a small DJ group called J.A.M. Did local gigs with J.A.M. for a few years. Played a few summers on "DJ Damage's summer enima show" on WMUC college radio during the early 90's. Transferred to Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the spring semester 1992. The Rave scene started in the Baltimore/D.C. region. Got an opportunity to play at "Remedy" 1995 as "the up and coming DJ of the week" (Thanks G-Whiz, JulieAnne and Mike). Played at various Raves/Clubs/After-parties around Baltimore/D.C./Pennsylvania/Ohio from 1995-1998 including Fever, and Sunday Mass (Thanks Scott Henry & Charles Feelgood). Did a residency at Native (Thanks DJ Entity & Alex Kidd). Started the "Fierce tapes" series 1993, while at MICA and continued the series till around 2003. These tapes were a mix of experimentation/practice/and getting to know the music.
