Hi I'm Albert cartwright from New Jersey. As far as I can remember I have loved music. My first mixer I made myself. I took two cassette Walkman's and two headphones, Cut the speakers off and just used the wires and jack. I spliced the headphone wires together with a rca jack on the opposite end of the headphone jack and then plugged the rca wires into a tuner and recorder. I would then play one tape in one Walkman and then another in the second one. I would have all the tapes stacked in piles, so they were on point to que. once I played one and it was almost over id turn up the volume on the second one and turn the first one down making them fade with continuous music. so, I go back to the 80"s. music make me move. I'm not the best but i love doing what I do making people happy. I also now make beats and make mixes digitally. I've had a mentor I've watched and learned over the years his name is DJ TONY MORRIS. He is one of my favorite DJs of all time.
