As part of the Max Dex collaborative team with former band mate now current DJ partner, Op Tech, Lokee seeks to bring back the sounds and styles of music production that initially piqued his interest in the genre of electronic music, including Portishead, Meat Beat Manifesto, Lamb, Gus Gus, Orbital, DJs Spooky, Shadow and Cam, and artists from the Metalheadz, V/Full Cycle and Virus labels, just to name a few. Preferring to stay firmly rooted on the fringes of the independent music scene, they rather hold true to their principle of"making good music for the sake of making music" while also staying true to the DYI spirit of the early punk scene, which has been a major personal and professional influence on both of them.
